New business event for the Island

A new event this month aims to help businesses grow and develop by working and supporting each other.

The Business Support Day on Tuesday, 20 March, has already attracted over 30 exhibitors and the day will also include a series of ‘how to’ seminars, providing advice and support on a range of key issues.

The event – organised jointly by the Chamber of Commerce and Gully Howard – is being hosted by MJH Developments at its showpiece commercial development, The Apex Centre, St Cross Business Park, Newport.

At the event, MJH Developments and the EcoIsland Partnership will announce a new offering to enable businesses on the Island to significantly reduce their energy bills and become more sustainable; and will officially launch The Apex Centre as a demonstrator of renewable technologies which, when integrated, will provide an energy solution that will be the first of its kind in the UK.

The exhibition space covers services including finance, legal, property, recruitment, employee health and well-being, utilities, supplies, software, printing, travel, branding, communications, clothing, and tourism.

Seminars include sessions on promotion, business rates, property, and banking.

The free event runs from 11am to 4pm.
