Festive fun with the Over 50s Start Me Up programme!
The latest drop-in session for the Over 50s Start Me Up programme has a festive feel today. We’re welcoming our 50 plus entrepreneurs to the Chamber offices at Mill Court for networking with a twist, with a Christmas quiz and a mince pie (or two). The session was hosted by the programme mentors Lynda and Fiona. Visitors also met with the Chamber’s Chief Executive Kevin Smith who swapped notes with the olderpreneurs on their business journeys so far.
It’s been a great year for the programme, which is supported by the Big Lottery Fund using National Lottery funding. The Over 50s Start Me Up programme has helped to create more than 60 new businesses to date.
