Isle of Wight Chamber brings together young people between the ages of 11-24 with local businesses through the Chamber of Commerce network, to provide real meaningful understanding about business, jobs, careers and the exciting range of potential opportunities that exist for all young people, of all abilities, once they leave education.

Be a governor at Gurnard Primary School
Gurnard Primary School has a Local Authority Governor position available on the Governing Board. They are looking to appoint a member of the community who has significant experience in budgeting, income generation and finance and is involved in corporate business matters. Interested parties must be willing to commit to the school and join the Leadership and Management Committee and the Full Governing Body meetings. Further expectations of the role include participating in monitoring visits, learning walks and auditing.
They would like to receive applications for this position from those who are passionate about education and will use their experience, knowledge and skills, to help drive the school forward in an effective and efficient way. Candidates will not be afraid to challenge and support where it is appropriate and necessary.
