Isle of Wight School Enterprise Activity

The Isle of Wight Chamber working with Island partners

Isle of Wight Chamber brings together young people between the ages of 11-24 with local businesses through the Chamber of Commerce network, to provide real meaningful understanding about business, jobs, careers and the exciting range of potential opportunities that exist for all young people, of all abilities, once they leave education.

Please see below upcoming events for students, parents and businesses.

Tuesday 9th May 2017
Your Future event
Cowes Yacht Haven
9.30am – 2.00pm
Part of the event will include a ‘Whats my job’ zone. Here students will rotate between a number of employers asking each employer participant, closed questions (i.e. those requiring a “Yes” or “No” answer) with the aim of working out the individual’s job. Once students give their final guess, the employer will confirm what job they do, and tell the students what their job role involves as well as providing more information about their sector of work. If you would like to be involved please contact Mat Leopold on matthew.leopold@dwp.gsi.gov.uk
