Thanks to everyone who supported Expo
By Steven Holbrook, the Chamber’s Chief Executive

The Chamber’s Business Expo has grown in size and stature every year and this year was by far our busiest and best yet. The Chamber team worked very hard to bring the event together and Tom, Kathryn, Dee, Emma and George put in some serious hours to make Expo happen. They’ve been supported by some brilliant businesses, including our sponsors, without whom we wouldn’t be able to host the event.

This year WightFibre were our main sponsor once again, anchoring the event with their Networking Area at the hub of the Expo. The event also provided a welcome opportunity to find out more about their groundbreaking Gigabit Island plans.

The Isle of Wight County Press were strong Expo supporters once again, helping us to spread the word and drive footfall to the event. Crossprint helped to make the event look great visually, designing and printing our Expo programme, posters, folders and flyers.

Lifeline Security sponsored our Expo breakfast, gave away some great prizes and brought a new visual aspect to the day with their cameras providing live HD footage of the exhibitor rooms.

The team at Swinton Business sponsored our Expo lunch and closing the day with some great prize draws.

We also welcomed The Island Tea and Coffee Company once again and their Expo blend of coffee added to the buzz of the day.

I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, all of the businesses who exhibited and everyone who came along on the day. Seeing Island businesses engaging with each other, making conversation and ultimately making deals, is a brilliant thing. If you were there, you’ll know how important this is. If you missed Expo you really did miss out!

See you in 2019!
