Wightlink Ferries is holding a ‘drop in’ consultation session on Tuesday 20 September 2016 to update neighbours, stakeholders and customers of progress on its £45million investment in a new ship and improvements at Fishbourne and Portsmouth Gunwharf car ferry terminals. It will take place between 17:00 – 19:00 at the meeting room in Fishbourne terminal.

Senior managers will be on hand with plans of the development to explain what is happening and answer questions.

“We are keen to be good neighbours as we invest in the future of our Fishbourne to Portsmouth route and hope people will take this opportunity to find out more about what will be happening over the next 18 months,” says Operations Director Elwyn Dop.

Two tier loading ramps will be installed during the winter at both Fishbourne and Gunwharf. At Gunwharf, the existing Costa Coffee and Greggs building will be removed later in September as part of the scheme and the Costa café relocated to the ticket office during the development

Work has started on Wightlink’s new flagship which will arrive in the Solent in time for summer 2018.
