Dan, Stef and the team are celebrating the opening of a second floor at Caffe Isola. The artisan coffee shop on Newport’s St James’ Street now has additional seating with the opportunity to browse arts and crafts from local businesses.

“We’re really pleased to be showcasing Island craft and producers,” says owner Dan Burgess. “We have seven Island businesses on display now. This building is amazing and it really suits what we do, so it’s brilliant for us to be able to restore it to its former glory. In 2019 we’ll also bring our coffee roaster to the second floor. We’re bringing it to the forefront so that visitors can see inside the process.”

The ribbon was cut by the IW Chamber’s Chief Executive Steven Holbrook and the ceremony also marked the first anniversary of Caffe Isola opening in the former Beavis store, following 18 months of refurbishment.
