The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting was held on Friday 14th October at Ventnor Winter Gardens. The meeting was chaired by Steve Porter, Chairman of the Chamber board. The Chamber’s Chief Executive Kevin Smith presented the annual report and the meeting formally approved changes to the Chamber board.

Mark Lee of Lifeline Alarm Systems, Jonathan Thornton of PC Consultants and Christopher Scott have been elected to the Chamber Board and Peter Tomlinson was nominated by the IW Chamber President, Geoff Underwood and appointed as Vice President for a period of two years.

The AGM also recognised long-standing members, with a silver award presented to PC Consultants, marking 20 years of Chamber membership. Bronze awards were also presented to: Lucas Fettes & Partners, Grange Farm Self-Catering & B&B and Platform One (IOW) Ltd, representing 10 years of membership.

BeCalmed, Corporate Furniture & Interiors Ltd, Edwards Lyons & Co, ERMC Ltd, Footprint Trust Ltd, Fort Spinney, Harrow Lodge Hotel, Henry Ingram & Sons Ltd, Hepburns Planning Consultancy, Home From Home Holidays, Into The Blue Ltd, Lawdit Solicitors Ltd, Made 2 Measure Fenders LLP, Ninham Farm, Parterre Holiday Apartments, RHP Marine Ltd, Tari Willis Associates and The Nightingale Hotel (formerly Keats Green Hotel) are also now officially Bronze members of the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce.
