Maritime Solent Networking Event

Join Maritime Solent and the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce for an engaging networking event hosted by Spinlock, one of the Solent region's most impressive maritime success stories.

Based at Three Gates Business Park on the edge of Cowes, Spinlock has grown from an innovative local business into a globally recognised manufacturer, with its life jackets, safety equipment and sailing hardware exported to customers around the world. During the event, you'll hear first-hand about the company's journey, growth and ambitions for the future. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take a tour of Spinlock's facilities, gaining an insight into the innovation, design and manufacturing that underpin the company's international success.

We will be joined by representatives from the Hampshire and Solent Combined County Authority, who will provide an update on the development of the region's Local Growth Plan. This important strategy will set out a shared vision for economic growth, establish priorities with Government, and identify a pipeline of future investments that will support businesses, communities and key sectors across the area.

Delivered in partnership with the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, this free event is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors. While there will be a strong maritime focus, the themes of innovation, economic growth, skills and workforce development are relevant to organisations across the wider economy.
