Diverse Marine and OEG Marine Services extend partnership with three further CTVs

Cowes-based Diverse Marine has strengthened its partnership with OEG Marine Services with a new contract to build three further crew transfer vessels (CTVs), scheduled for delivery throughout 2027.

The contract builds on the companies’ existing relationship following the delivery of OEG Fulmar in 2025 and represents another significant order for the Island-based shipbuilder.

The three new vessels will be Diverse Marine BREVITY SL Class CTVs, designed by Southampton-based Chartwell Marine. Each will measure 26 metres overall, with a load line length of less than 24 metres. The first vessel will feature quad Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, compliant with IMO Tier III emissions standards, together with Hull Vane transom foils. The configuration has been designed to optimise fuel efficiency at cruising speeds and deliver high levels of performance.

All three vessels will be constructed to the same specification, classed by Bureau Veritas and operated under the UK flag.

Ben Colman, Director of Diverse Marine, commented, “Our team in Cowes takes great pride in the quality of the vessels we build. We look forward to continuing our relationship with OEG and delivering these larger craft.”

For OEG Marine Services, the latest contract forms part of its ongoing fleet renewal and expansion programme. The new contract is another strong example of the specialist marine engineering and manufacturing expertise based on the Isle of Wight, with vessels built in Cowes set to play a role in the continuing development of the offshore wind sector.
