About
LAM Geospatial produces measured survey data from the air for clients on the Isle of Wight and across the Solent.
The deliverable is not a photograph. It is a survey you can work from - orthophoto, terrain model, point cloud and measured plan, in British National Grid, sized so your design team can take dimensions straight off it.
Services:
- Topographic and site surveys, for design, planning and feasibility
- Volumetric survey: stockpiles, quarries, waste and aggregate, tracked between visits
- Roof and building envelope capture, measured, close range, with no access equipment
- Construction progress monitoring
- Coastal, estate and land change over time
Every flight is controlled with surveyed ground targets. Our published horizontal accuracy is better than 60 mm and the methodology behind that figure is documented and available on request. We would rather be checked than believed.
Being on the Island matters more than it sounds. There is no ferry crossing in our mobilisation, no mainland travel loaded into the quote, and a site can be re-flown quickly when weather or programme demands it.
Flown under a CAA Operational Authorisation to PDRA-01 by a GVC-qualified pilot, with £5m public liability and £1m professional indemnity. Lane Aerial Media Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZC189317); a written data protection position can be supplied before any flight over occupied or member-access sites.
