Wessex Cancer Support

Wessex Cancer Trust is a charity which provides practical and emotional support to thousands of Islanders affected by cancer. The charity has a support centre in Lugley Street, Newport, which provides services including professional counselling, complementary therapies, befriending and much more. The charity provides lifelong support to Islanders whatever their age, stage or type of cancer and also extends that support to the family and friends of those affected. The charity also runs two Daisy Buses, in Portsmouth and Southampton, which transport Islanders to their mainland hospital appointments for free. The buses complete 20,000 passenger journeys each year.
