Red Funnel Business Start Up Course

Have a business idea but not sure where to start? We help new businesses take their ideas from paper into practice. Join our business seminar for start-ups and get the tools, knowledge, and confidence to bring your idea to life.

This course is suitable for those with a business idea they wish to progress, through to those who have been in business for six months. We will take you through all the various aspects that need to be considered including: Market research, cash flow forecast, tax, national insurance, VAT, making tax digital, marketing, business names, bookkeeping, insurance, social media and websites, closing with an introduction to your business plan.

The one day workshop is delivered by an experienced business mentor, in a friendly manner, allowing you to get as many questions answered as possible. You will be spending a day with other like-minded people, embarking on the same journey, with the opportunity to network and share knowledge.

When starting in business you have to wear many hats, some fit well and others need adjustment. Come along and find out which areas you might need help with.

This course will be held at Caffe Isola, Newport – lunch and hot drinks will be included in the £16 course fee.

You will also be welcome to step out into our coffee and cake networking event. This offers an ideal opportunity for informal conversation and a wonderful way to meet and connect with some of our members
