Well done to WightFibre’s Josh Willett who has won £10,000 on the Isle of Wight Lottery. Josh pays £1 a week through his company payroll and he’s the latest big winner to pick up £10,000 in our Monster Draw.

“I’m absolutely delighted,” Josh says. “It was a bit of a shock at the time and it’s still sinking in. I’m going to take my girlfriend away on holiday and we’ll look at getting a better car. I’ll save the rest for a rainy day. By paying just £1 a week through company payroll it’s the easiest £10,000 I’ve ever made!”

Josh, 26, has worked for WightFibre for a year and he’s been playing the Isle of Wight Lottery for six months. The Isle of Wight Lottery gives away £2000 every week with a Monster Prize of £10,000 every three months. The Isle of Wight Lottery also supports new Island businesses with start-up courses and interest free loans.

Shereleagh Jones, WightFibre’s finance and human resources manager, says she’s glad to help create Island jobs by supporting the Isle of Wight Lottery.

“WightFibre as a company pays for all 29 of our staff to play the Isle of Wight Lottery,” Shereleagh says. “We like to support local businesses and we employ local people and support local companies and charities. Supporting the Isle of Wight Lottery is a double benefit for us – it’s a benefit for our employees and it’s even better when they win! Everyone was really pleased when Josh found out that he’d won. He’s a popular member of staff and he’s even more popular now!”

Josh’s win proves that lightning does strike twice. Shereleagh is also a winner, having picked up £2,000 back in January 2014.
