Katie Ennis is setting up her first ever business with the help of the Isle of Wight Lottery. She’s borrowed £2,500 as an interest free loan, to help her open a shop in Ryde’s Victoria Arcade.

“My shop is called Three Little Buds, named after my three young children, who are the driving force behind my business,” Katie explains. “I want to provide really good customer service and be the ‘go-to’ shop for Island families. We’re going to sell pushchairs, car seats and clothing from newborn to 12 years.

“Without the loan from the Isle of Wight Lottery I simply wouldn’t be able to open the shop, which will really open up my business. Suppliers won’t talk to you unless you have a shop so the loan is going to make a huge difference.”
